Welcome to my new sales page! If you're a long time customer, you'll notice some changes here. Allow me to explain:
I will no longer be listing pen-trays on a monthly basis. Now, I will have an ongoing sales page. This means that instead of waiting till the end of the month to put new pens up for sale, I will simply add new pens whenever I'm done restoring them. This makes things less-stressful for me, in that I don't have to worry about getting all 12 pens ready each month, but also, allows me to post pen without having to wait till the end of the month. It's a looser, and more convenient method, in my opinion. If you want to be notified when new pens are put up, just follow me on twitter. I will tweet new pens as soon as they're up, so you can be the first one to grab em'!
This page is full of fountain pens, mostly vintage (unless otherwise noted), and all restored to working/writing condition. Each pen sold here is warranted under my 1 year guarantee. Working/writing means that the pen not only fills and functions as it should, but that the tines have been aligned, it has been set for reasonable flow, and the nib is not scratchy. Pens that are above-average writers will be noted in the description.
Each pen is graded using a system I have created. It is based on the system invented by David Issacson (Vacumania.com). This grading is offered to help you quickly identify the condition of a pen you're interested in. To see my grading system, visit this page.
To purchase a pen, simply click the price (highlighted in red), found at the end of the description. It will open up an email already addressed to me, and with a subject line that states which pen you're wanting. You can ask questions, or simply tell me "I'll take it". Once you're positive you want to purchase something, we'll work out a PayPal invoice.
Shipping is included in the price of each pen! I ship USPS priority mail, tracked with delivery confirmation. Insurance for purchased pens is at your cost, if you want it. International customers are welcome, but shipping will be calculated on an individual basis, as each country varies.
Pens that are sold will be promptly removed from the sales page. If there was a pen you wanted, and now it's gone, chances are that it's sold. If the pen is still here, then it's still available. New pens will be listed at the bottom of the page, so as to give the older ones a better chance, and prevent certain pens from remaining unseen at the bottom for months on end.
Esterbrook SJ - Copper - 1461 "carbon-copies" (fine) nib Very typical but nice little Esterbrook SJ. Good deep/dark color on this one. Condition is B+, minor surface wear, but no brassing, dings, or gouges. Nib is very stiff and smooth for it's fine line. Overall a great Esterbrook in the copper coloration. Price: $45.00 |
Parker Duofold Jr. - Orange - F nib I see so many of these pens that are horribly abused. This one is actually very good compared to most that I've seen. This pen is in B- condition, with some clip brassing, and a few extremely light chew-marks to the blind cap, and some light surface nicks and scratches. Imprint is pretty worn, but is still mostly there. Nib is a smooth fine with no flex. Price: $110.00 |
Sheaffer (cartridge) School Pen - Green - fine nib A most interested Sheaffer School pen, that looks just like an early Snorkel from far away. Has a slip cap, which attaches to a clutch ring. The clutch ring is loose, and thus the cap spins when place on the pen, yet is still secure and won't pull of. It's not the cap spinning, it's the clutch ring. Overall excellent condition - grade B, with no brassing, gouges, or cracks. Steel nib writes a smooth fine line. Comes with an emptied Sheaffer cartridge for you to re-fill with a syringe. Price: $40.00 |
